==Steps== 1. Measure up the bar roughly to the length of the jap plate (or slightly shorter to allow it to be hidden behind it when finished) 2. Cut the flat bar to the measurement and double check. Grind sharp edges as required 3. Take over to car, and mark on the lower half of the bar the location for the holes to match the bootlid (leave about 10mm to the bottom of the material) 4. Drill the 2 holes with the 5mm drill bit, then using the mounting screws you would already have, screw the bracket into place 5. Take jap plate, and sit it central in the garnish. Mark hole positions onto the bracket. Remove bracket and drill with 4mm bit 6. Re mount bracket. Get tek screws, add a washer or 2, and use phillips / star point bit in drill to gently screw into the bracket. Finish result: One jap plate mounted with no modification to the plate or the bootlid [[File:JDMPlateAdapter.jpg|640px|center|link=]]
