My front driver's and passenger windows have scratch marks from the little rollers that are supposed to guide the window when it goes up and down. This is on a 87 Passage GT. I'm not going to get too in-depth as I know nothing about doors/windows but if I can figure it out you can. Ignition off, unscrew Phillips head screw in top of arm rest, also and other Phillips head screws along where the arm rest was. take out the power windows and lock surround (both are clipped in) also pull the door handle surround off (clipped in) pull around the edges of the door trim GENTLY and you hear the clips either breaking or popping out. (If you break any I found Supercheap had some.) Just gently move it around and work its way off. Turn the ignition on, plug in your power windows again and wind the window up and down a few times and watch how it works. Take a look at it and you'll see the rollers I'm talking about. You can take out one roller, you have to take out the window to get to the other 2. Just unscrew the roller you can get to and lift it up and it should come out. To get the window out grab your socket set, you will see 2 spots where the window is connect to the scissor like thing that goes up and down. Take the nuts off. Then to the left of the door you will see a pole the the stripper, I mean window slides up and down on. Undo the nut at the top and the Phillips head at the bottom of the pole under the door. Pull the pole out from the top. Pull window up gently and it should come out, if not swear lots, throw spanners.... punch the car. Then get the other 3 rollers and pull 'em out. Mine had no felt left on them so I'm just going to glue some new stuff on or something. Also while you are in the door, spray some WD-40 and grease up the rails and all the bendy bits and pieces with bearing grease. It'll make everything run smoother and sound a bit quieter. Reverse all this to get the window back in. Have fun, Eclipze Click on images for bigger version
