==Note!:== Before you remove your injectors, it is advisable to depressurise the fuel line. This should also be done prior to changing the fuel filter, or any job which involves working with the fuel lines. ===Depressurise the fuel line=== To depressurise the fuel lines, *Start the engine. *Remove floor mat from boot *Disconnect fuel pump connector with the car running. The connector can be seen in the image below, it is marked in yellow. {| |Fuel pump connector |- | |} * After the engine stalls, crank engine two or three times to make sure pressure is released. * Turn ignition off, and reconnect fuel pump. ==Replacing your injectors== If you're replacing 3 of the injectors you'll need to take everything off, you can replace injectors 1 and 2 without removing the plenum but it's tricky. You'll need a new plenum/inlet manifold gasket, they are about 5 dollars from Nissan, part number 14032-71L00. #Unbolt the top half of the plenum, you'll need to remove the inlet piping, and a couple of vacuum hoses to do this. You can just push it off to the side to save having to remove all the rest of the connectors and hoses. Alternatively if you take it completely off, you've got to drop some coolant, then refill and bleed. #Undo the bolts that retain the fuel rail, remove the plugs from the injectors, and undo the screws that secure the individual injectors to the inlet manifold. #Undo both hoses that connect to the fuel rail and remove the complete fuel rail with attached injectors from car. #Replace whatever injectors you want to change (have fun getting the hose of the end of the injectors if your new ones don't already have hose attached) #Place fuel rail back in car, replace screws connecting injectors to intake manifold, replace bolts securing fuel rail, and reconnect the injector plugs. #When getting the remains of the old gasket off, it is best to block the holes with something, I used some scrunched up paper. Stops chunks o' crap falling in and being sucked in the engine. #Re-attach top half of plenum using the new gasket and reconnect the intake piping. #Cycle the fuel pump a few times. (turn to on but don't start, allow the fuel pump to run), this is to get the pressure back into the fuel rail. #Start the car and look for any leaks Compiled by WINNER31, HARRIS, SKY031, Smeagols_ghost
