Step 1.

Remove the center console, there are screws under the little bits of carpet (inside and out).

Step 2.

Take the vinyl boot off, and the ruber boot under that too.

Then you have to reach in under the console and push the little tabs in.

I found these after I broke the console off.

Once you remove this bit there are 2 more screws holding the console on.

Remove them and the console comes off, take off everything in the first pic above until you are left with the just the stick to come out.


Step 3.

Get your Circlip plyers on the circlip and pull it together so it can clear the hole, pry up the clip with the scribe and it should just pop out.
