Location of ECCS components[edit]
Fuses and Relays[edit]
Basic Safety[edit]
- Keep ECCS parts and harnesses dry.
- Before removing parts, turn off ignition switch and then disconnect battery ground cable.
- Do not disassemble auxiliary air control valve.
- Do not depress accelerator pedal when starting.
- Do not rev the engine just prior to shut down.
- When installing radio transmitters, be sure to observe the following as it may adversely affect electronic control systems depending on its installation location.
- Keep the antenna as far as passible away from the electronic control units.
- Also keep the antenna feeder line more than 20cm away from the harness of electronic controls. Don not let them run parallel for a long distance.
- Adjust the antenna and feeder line so that the standing-wave ration can be kept smaller.
- Connect the ground wire from the radio chassis to the body.
